A Family Craft, Built One Wall at a Time.
Ian Green founded Atlantic Walls in Cape Town in 1993, hanging paper on his own. There was no marketing behind it. Work came from the last job, one homeowner telling another, an interior designer passing the number to a client they couldn't afford to disappoint.
That's a slow way to build a business and an unforgiving one. It only works if the walls hold up. Three decades later, a good share of the work still arrives the same way.
It started with one man and a pasting table.

Atlantic Walls is now run by Bradley Clarke-Mcleod, who has spent over a decade on the tools. What he took on wasn't only the client list and the equipment, it was the standard Ian set, and the expectation that it doesn't slip.
Knowing how a seam should sit, how a pattern meets at a corner, how a wall ought to look when the last drop goes up, none of that comes off a course. It comes from doing it every day, in Cape Town homes, for thirty years.
